Officers from the Prince William County Police Department were called shortly after 10:50 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 4 to a home in the 17900 block of Milroy Drive to investigate a reported shooting, according to First Sgt. Jonathan Perok.
Upon arrival, officers found five victims with gunshot and other injuries, according to the department. One was pronounced dead and the other four were transported to area hospitals with what were described as “serious injuries.”
Officials say that a person of interest has been taken into police custody. The shooting is believed to be an isolated incident contained only to the Milroy Drive residence.
Perok said that their ages and names have not been confirmed and will be released at a later time.
